E. Ray Construction is a family-owned and operated deck building and carpentry company. We have been serving the Tri-City area for the past 35 years. Vern Ray started the company in 1990 after moving here from the San Francisco area. Throughout the years, he built up the business with the focus on TimberTech AZEK™ Decking in the Kane County area and became known as a quality contractor in Geneva, Saint Charles, Batavia, Aurora, Elgin and the surrounding areas.

We had the best experience getting our massive second story deck rebuilt by Eddie. Eddie and his guys were great to work with, the quality of their work is amazing and they were very competitive with their pricing. We would 100% recommend them!

Eddie and team did an amazing job on our new front porch stairs. They removed the old concrete staircase and built a new front entry which extended out to the side using Azek boards. Eddie was great to work with and you can tell he takes pride in the quality of work he does. If you are looking for a new deck, stairs or porch, I would highly recommend Eddie and his team!!!
Eddie and his crew installed our new deck in 2023. Eddie was excellent at communicating with us throughout the project. We knew exactly what was happening each and every day. Permits and inspections were all taken care of by him and he was always here for inspections. The project went seamlessly, without a hitch and completed 100 percent on time and exactly as promised. We are so pleased with the product and the service.
